I am rather addicted to listening to the news while I am at work. And until now the source of these news has always been BBC WorldService. But I have to modify my addiction now as I am having some troubles receiving BBC World Service these days. Now obviously the first question would be, why on earth do they insist on using the dreaded Real player, but now the services quality of transmission is going down, way down. I cannot listen to them anymore as the stream gets cut off, lags, skips and jumps non-stop. Making it impossible to follow any of their programs. I have no idea what is going on and no reaction to be gotten from them either. I feel like I am being cheated on. And now I am cheating back…Deutsche Welle has the answer. Nice and clear, high quality programs. I have to admit though that they do not reach the BBC World Sevices kneecaps. But still…I am cheating on…
