My notes so far on the subject

Old Slogan:
Homeless. PLEASE HELP!

New Slogan:
What if YOU where hungry!?

Brain 3 layers
New – rational
Middle – emotional
Old – (me) decision maker

Six old-brain stimuli

  1. Selfcentered
  2. Contrast
  3. Tangible Input
  4. The beginning and the end
  5. Visual stimuli
  6. Emotion

Principles of effective communication

  1. Suspend judgment
  2. Listen deeply
  3. Challenge assumptions
  4. Inquire and reflect

Pain x Claim x Gain x (Old brain)3

  1. Diagnose the Pain
  2. Differ your claim
  3. Demonstrate your gain
  4. Deliver to old brain
