More Ubuntu

Having spent much of the weekend playing around with my new-found OS, I must say I am more and more flabbergasted. How can it be that there are not more people using this wonderful OS. I have already started evangelizing friends, trying to convert them. One musician friend of mine who spends much time composing on his machine has been looking to get more out of his hardware. Windows just does not cut it for him, so I dug around a bit and found Studio to go ! which is a distribution targeted towards that exact user-group. Myself I have to admit I did spend more then 20 minutes setting up my Eclipse CF and Flash environment, but it did not take longer then what I was willing to give. And now I have a stable Environment up and running, and I have learned a thing or two that will come in handy the next time I need to interact with a Linux server. One more thing, to XP to Ubuntu converts I suggest Automatix
