For almost 2 years now (October 2006) I have been scrobbling the music I listen to ( 4,626 different tracks submitted ).
And now, when I use the wonderful function ‘My Recommendations‘ which essentially matches music you might like to you. An endless stream of new discoveries. If you like something, listen, if you love something, tag it, and if you hate something, ban it, to never here it again.
And like that your music just gets better and better. It really is ‘a social music revolution’. So check out your recommendations today, and until that day comes, you can check out mine, cause they kick ass…mostly

And if you are not a user, get an account, install the scrobbler (it with pretty much all major softwares (like iTunes or the Winbarf Media Player), as well as your portable mp3 player) and listen to what you got, then eventually (in a month or so I guess) check your recommendations, as well as your musical neighborhood. A neighborhood you can choose yourself by joining groups and having friends. Based on your taste and friends, other users playlists are suggested to you…anyway, who needs blabbering Radio DJs anyways?
And while we speak music, an honorable mention to Magnatune here. I discovered them through my Amarok and got myself an account, after jumping through the streams there, and finding quit e bit bit of listening worthy music…
