facelift

Well it was time. I have been experimenting with new plugins, new sidebars and other wordpress-goodies. So what better time to update the theme of this site that is my blog. So enjoy!
There are still some hickups to the new theme, but it ain’t nothin I can’t fix during the weekend…

I got meebooed
Well after spending some time on digging through Jocelyn’s Ajax suggestions, my winner is meebo is the winner. Meebo essentially allows you to access all of the major instant messaging services through one slick interface. This comes in handy especially when (like myself) you are working at a place where instant messaging software ports have been blocked by your friendly sys-admin. Meebo is, by the way, also included in the wonderful online app. Netvibes. I have added the meebo widget to the blog as well for now. This is more tentatively though, cause I have to admit that the lack of visual customization is somewhat disappointing. So I will leave it on for a bit, see if I get used to it. If not, it’ll have to go again…
