Dmitri Shostakovich – The Jazz Album

Since this summer I have been (re)discovering Shostakovich and his compositions. They document, underline and describe the clichés of Stalinistic politics so well. It makes me wonder if the polit-office ever really listened to the music this man wrote. There are so many messages in it.
