Since the switch to OSX Adobe has alwaws refused to use apple's latest technologies (see Photoshop). Then Apple realeased Final Cut and literrally killed Premiere on Mac. There's a long history behind the war on Flash. The fact is : Flash on Mac has always been a pain in the ass, I could'n imagine the performance with an iPhone or iPad since my MacMini G4 1.5ghz with 1gb of RAM is unable to play correctly flash videos from youtube.
