time does not permit a lengthy post, but I am sharing my two favorite links of the week
This one made me think how amazing nature is; Sebastien sent it to me

me and my plans

well the move is finally complete. I am now officially arrived in Ottawa. It took some time, Vero has already been here for a month. During these last weeks I have been wondering as to what I should be doing during my sejour here. And the more time passes the more I think I will be contracting during these coming months. I have been offered to full time positions, but I am not really convinced by the offers, I guess my year and a half with Marketel spoilt me. in any case, so if you have heard of anything or anyone that might be in need of my services please do not hesitate to get in touch. I am more then willing to come
over to Montreal, if need be. It is, after all, only a 2 hour trip, so very feasible on short notice.
it’s a wonderful world

I am having so much fun these days. I am exploring Codeigniter to the fullest. What a wonderful way to build PHP applications. Fun fun fun….just thought I’d share that…you know the drill I cannot speak about the projects before they are actually live. But they are fun. and they give me the opportunity to learn a new framework. Well new to me anyway. I have been using bits and bobs of it for almost a year now. But it has not been until now that I am really using it. Building complete apps with this MVC marvel is so much fun. Also the move to Ottawa is finally happening. I am missing Vero so much, I have troubles focusing sometimes. While at the same time I am working night shifts after Marketel. As I promised being available from August 1st, jobs came in. Jobs I could hardly turn down. And now here I am, working night and day. All in preparation of Ottawa. I still am not certain what will happen. I am definitely looking for a full time position. My contracting days are over I think, but then again, never say never. So who knows, no doors have been shut. Two companies have already invited me in, one other is asking me to prove myself. That intrigues me so off course I have to do their little test, how can I resist…a challenge…
anyway, so much for a slice of life. So remember Codeigniter is where it’s at…
